I also thought the food truck was worth a stop and had good food.
A popular beach with lifeguards on duty and facilities. Popular during the off-season for dog walking and exercising on along it's long parking lot. The marsh side of the beach is popular with children looking to find crabs in the muck.
good beach. lots of seaweed at the waters edge and rough rock and shell when wading in. clean bathrooms. regular ice cream truck. a food truck onsite. red river on the opposite side of the parking lot has a zillion tiny fiddler crabs.
I visited this beach for a couple of weeks this summer and I thought it was beautiful. It was also clean and lifeguards were present at all times when opened.
Great beach on the ocean side. A lot of people on a nice day, but not over crowded. Theres a great spot with a tidal pool to look for creatures with the kids. Only 2 restrooms that can be a walk depending on where you park.
