I cannot believe how busy this place was, I phoned my order in (at 7 pm), I waited the appropriate amount of time (15 min.) and drove there (a 5 minute ride), and I waited almost an hour before I was waited on, before I was even questioned about my order, mind you, it was for 2 small pizzas. Of course my order was cold and soggy (I specifically asked them to cook them well, a little burnt even), and sadly, this was my first time ever getting anything from here, and now I will never go back. They should have had one person working the phone orders, instead it was anarchy, they were waiting on everybody and wouldn't wait on another till that one was finished. Well, that's summer on Cape Cod !!
Additionally, they do not inform you of this policy when you call to make an order. It is only when you arrive to pick up your food that you see the small sign on the counter. They don't let you know until you've ordered, waited, and driven to pick up the food. This is bamboozling customers, and it should not be tolerated.
Harwich Port House of Pizza charges almost 4% more than their menu dictates. They say that there is a cash discount and only cards are charged more, yet the menu is the lower price. That is not a discount, it is garbage.
Good food lots of Italian selections, pizza pasta sandwiches. Has a full bar selections.
My experience with Harwich Port House of Pizza was extremely poor. I went with a coupon for "1 Free Large Pizza" and ordered a 1/2 Cheese and 1/2 Pepperoni Pizza. When I went to pay, the employee requested that I pay an extra $3.00 (which I assume was for the pepperoni) however, the coupon should have covered this. I tried to pay this with a credit card since I don't carry cash, and was denied since the restaurant does not use credit cards for payments under $5.00. When I told him I did not have the $3.00 aside from the credit card, he PICKED THE PEPPERONI OFF THE PIZZA, and put it in the oven. When it was done cooking he handed me my pizza, and I was on my way. Overall a very poor experience. The only reason I am not giving this a 0 star review is because Google requires me to give a minimum rating of 1 star.
I stood at the counter to order and watched at least three people walk by me without even acknowledging my presence. When I finally got someone to take my order it felt like a real imposition. It wasn't even busy?
