A good store. Some restocking issues. Prices definitely higher than off Cape.Frequently long checkout lines; as i believe they want you to use automatic checkout machines.

I meet the manager Mike when I asked for someone in management and he introduced himself and was very receptive to listen to my comments. I said that I like his clean Stop & Shop store and felt some prices where a bit higher that what I usually pay. He asked for specifics and I talked about the ice cream before was higher but now is more reasonable and he explained what happened to lower the prices, don't want to bore you with the details, but felt he was very open and honest with his explantation.

As someone who has worked in the customer service field for 14 years, I find this extremely unsatisfactory and unacceptable. I've worked for different employers and have had many different colleagues and I don't understand how your store consistently has bad customer service with employees who give off a judgmental demeanor along with and attitude as if they can't be bothered. The checkout experience seals the deal if your customer should want to return, it should always be pleasant and courteous, even if the employee hates his/her job, their job is to smile and be polite. I am so disappointed and will not be returning to your location.

Each time I go into this Stop & Shop the customer service is the absolute worst. I'm a mom shopping for a family of 4 and this is located fairly close to where we live so it's very convenient and we would shop there very frequently seeing the same employees there quite often. However, on a couple of different occasions I've received terrible customer service while shopping with my kids. On one occasion while using self checkout with my kids and my own reusable bags, the older lady who works as support for self checkout after having a personal conversation with one of the other customers, walked around to my checkout, put her glasses to her nose and stared into my cart for a couple of minutes and I asked what was wrong and she asked if I had paid for the bags I was using along with what was in the bags. I was shocked, she has seen me shop there several times before with my kids. I felt extremely disrespected, profiled and degraded. This caused me to not want to go there again for some time, however, during some occasions I would still go there due the convenience from my home. This last time, and this WILL be my LAST TIME, I joined the line for cashier checkout and the young girl at the end of the belt had such an enormous attitude and was very rude to me and my kids. My 2 young children (16 months and 4 years old) have so much more manners and etiquette than this girl they hired in the customer service field, they told her hi several times and she just looked at them as if though she couldn't be bothered and with so much attitude I felt extremely uncomfortable, as we were leaving, they told her bye and again she says absolutely nothing and ignores me as I thanked her for placing our groceries in our bags.

My favorite supermarket! It very clean, produce is great and always full. The organic section could be bigger in produce, but it’s pretty good. Fantastic deli. Wonderful employees. Very polite and helpful. I love their selection of natural foods and gluten free foods. It’s over priced, but that’s due to the location. It’s a wonderful Stop

& Shop.

Do to the fact Mike was so available and down to earth i believe his management styles leads the store with positive attitudes; like the woman in the quick meal to go department ( rotisserie & fried chicken). I will continue to shop Stop & Shop because of the friendly respectful staff at Mike's Shop & Shop in Harwich. By the way, a Star Bucks is within Mike's store which he manages too.

I wish I could give more stars because most of the people who work there are helpful and work hard. Stop and Shop prices are so high, and we are held hostage being isolated on the lower cape. One thing they could fix is the milk refrigerator. The smell is terrible! That fridge should be completely cleaned and disinfected at least once per week. Also, I'm disappointed S&S charges for the reusable plastic bags. OSJL doesn't charge for their heavy duty ones.
